The inspiration

It started by the pool. Jonathan's daughter Olivia loved summer, but the heat had other plans. She just wanted to stay cool out there, and that small wish sent Jonathan down a long road of tinkering.

He had one goal. Make the backyard feel like a cool ocean breeze, the kind of air that rolls off cresting waves at the beach. After a pile of prototypes and plenty of trial and error, he landed on something refreshingly simple. A fine mist anyone could set up with the hose they already own.

We wanted it to feel like a cool ocean breeze. So that is exactly what we built.

That is MR.PATIOMISTER. No electricity, no tools, no complicated setup. Hook it up, turn it on, and the whole patio drops a few degrees.

Turns out the simplest idea was the best one. It cools the air, makes the grass a little greener, keeps mosquitoes and flies away, and turns any patio, balcony, or rooftop into the spot everyone wants to be on a hot day.
